Attio vs HubSpot, without the spin.
Both vendors' own comparison pages declare themselves the winner. We sell a third thing, so we can afford to be straight: who each CRM is actually for, verified pricing on both sides, and where our own product fits, including where it does not.

Two good products for two different buyers.
- →You want to model your business, not fit into someone else's objects: custom objects and true many-to-many relations are its signature.
- →You are a seed to Series B team that values a fast, Notion-like UI and being productive on day one.
- →You want predictable per-seat pricing with no onboarding fees: $35/user Plus or $79/user Pro on annual billing.
- →Sales is your motion and you do not need a marketing suite bolted to your CRM.
- →Marketing is your growth engine: campaigns, attribution, landing pages and email marketing out of the box, which Attio simply does not have.
- →You want one vendor for marketing, sales and service on a single data model.
- →Ecosystem depth matters: 1,800+ integrations, HubSpot Academy, and a huge agency network.
- →You need enterprise-grade conversation intelligence at volume: 750 to 1,500 transcription hours a month on Pro and Enterprise.
Bottom line: Bespoke data model and speed: Attio. Out-of-the-box marketing, breadth and ecosystem: HubSpot. If what you actually want is CRM plus calls plus outreach in one system, that is a third category, and we cover where we fit further down.
Year one for a 5-person sales team.
Annual billing on all three. HubSpot's number includes the mandatory $1,500 Professional onboarding fee that the per-seat sticker leaves out.
5 seats at the $79/user annual rate
Monthly billing raises it to $99/user, or $5,940/yr.
5 core seats at $90/seat annual
$5,400/yr from year two, before any renewal increase.
5 active users, annual billing
Effective $203/mo with 2 months free. Monthly billing is $244/mo.
HubSpot Starter is far cheaper ($15/seat annual, $7 promotional first term) but has no forecasting or conversation intelligence: the Starter-to-Professional jump is the loudest complaint about HubSpot pricing. Attio and HubSpot rates verified Aug 18, 2026.

Where Vesso fits in this fight.
You are on our site, so here is the honest version of the pitch. Attio and HubSpot are both CRMs first: whichever you pick, most sales teams still add a notetaker, a prospecting database, an outreach tool and a place to talk. Vesso's bet is that those belong in one workspace: CRM, unlimited meeting recording with AI notes, cadences, built-in prospecting and team chat, at $99 plus $29 per active user with viewers free.
Where we do not fit: if you need Attio's custom objects, we do not have them. If you need HubSpot's marketing attribution and 1,800-integration ecosystem, we are not that either, and we are a much younger product than either of them. We win when the thing you are actually buying is a sales team's whole day in one tool, priced so the whole company can see the pipeline without paying for it.
Attio vs HubSpot, answered.
Which is cheaper, Attio or HubSpot?
At the tiers sales teams actually use, Attio is cheaper in year one: Pro is $79/user annual with no onboarding fee, versus Sales Hub Professional at $90/seat plus a mandatory $1,500 onboarding fee. HubSpot Starter is much cheaper at $15/seat but lacks forecasting and conversation intelligence. From year two the per-seat gap narrows, though HubSpot renewal increases are widely reported.
Does HubSpot really charge a mandatory onboarding fee?
Yes. Sales Hub Professional carries a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee and Enterprise $3,500, listed on HubSpot's own pricing pages as of Aug 18, 2026. Attio has no equivalent fee.
Did Attio raise prices in 2026?
Yes. In July 2026 Plus went from $29 to $35 per user and Pro from $69 to $79 on annual billing. Most comparison articles still quote the old numbers; this page uses the new ones.
Can Attio replace HubSpot for marketing?
No. Attio has no email marketing, campaigns, landing pages or attribution. If marketing automation is part of what you are buying, Attio needs companion tools, and that stack math belongs in your comparison.
How does Vesso compare to both?
Vesso is a GTM workspace rather than a pure CRM: pipeline, unlimited meeting recording with AI notes, cadences, prospecting search and team chat in one product at $99 plus $29 per active user, with unlimited free viewer seats. It does not have Attio's custom objects or HubSpot's marketing depth, and it is a much younger product. For a 5-person sales team it runs $2,440/yr on annual billing, and you can start a free 7-day trial of the full platform today.
Attio and HubSpot prices, tier contents, onboarding fees and transcription-hour limits were pulled from both companies' public pricing pages on Aug 18, 2026. Renewal-increase reports come from third-party customer accounts, not vendor documentation, and are labeled as such above.
