Gong pricing, reconstructed.
Gong will not tell you what it costs until you are on a sales call. Buyers tell procurement platforms, so the numbers exist: reported seat prices, platform fees, minimums and contract totals, assembled here with every caveat attached, next to what we charge in the open.

Vesso and Gong are not feature-equivalent, and the table below is honest about it: Gong's revenue-intelligence depth is real. The comparison here is about what the conversation-intelligence core costs, and what sits behind a quote wall.
Where Gong is genuinely worth it.
Gong is the category benchmark, and for the right buyer the price is defensible. This is that case, made fairly.

Gong cells marked "reported" reflect Vendr contract data and 2026 buyer reports; Gong does not publish pricing and your quote will vary. The $133-$200/seat/mo figure is the reported $1,600-$2,400 annual range divided by 12.
The renewal is where the real price lives.
The pattern in 2026 buyer reports is consistent: the year-one quote is the friendly number. Renewals carry reported automatic uplifts of 5 to 15 percent, seats cannot be reduced mid-contract, and a usage-based AI credit meter now sits on top of per-seat licensing. Analyses of effective per-user cost put the increase at 25 to 56 percent between 2023 and 2026 for comparable deployments.
If you buy Gong, buy it with eyes open: negotiate the uplift cap and the credit terms in year one, when you have leverage. And if your team is under roughly 20 reps, multiple analyses reach the same conclusion we do: the platform fee and implementation cost spread over too few people, and you are paying enterprise infrastructure prices for coaching a mid-size team. That is the segment we built Vesso for, with pricing you just read without asking.
Gong pricing questions, answered.
How much does Gong cost per user?
Gong does not publish pricing. Vendr contract data (checked Aug 18, 2026) reports $1,600 to $2,400 per seat per year at 10 to 25 seats and $1,400 to $2,200 at 50 seats, before platform fees, implementation and add-on modules. Buyer roundups commonly cite $100 to $120 per user per month for the core license.
What is the minimum Gong contract?
Roughly 15 seats is the commonly reported minimum, with annual or multi-year terms paid upfront. Reported platform fees start around $5,000 and implementation from $7,500. The median Gong contract on Vendr is $54,900 per year.
Does Gong have a free trial?
No. Gong sells through demos and quotes only. There is no self-serve tier or published trial.
Is Gong worth the price?
Honestly: often yes, above roughly 50 reps, where its cross-call analytics and forecasting depth have no real peer and the fixed costs amortize. Below roughly 20 reps, the platform fee, implementation and seat minimums spread over too few people, which is where alternatives make sense.
What does Vesso cost compared to Gong?
Vesso publishes everything: $99 plus $29 per active user on Professional, so 10 active users run $3,890 per year on annual billing, including unlimited recording, AI notes, coaching scorecards, prep briefs, and the CRM itself. No minimums, no platform-fee surprises, no implementation charge, cancel anytime.
Are these Gong numbers accurate?
They are the best publicly available reconstruction, not a quote: Vendr aggregates real buyer contracts and was checked on Aug 18, 2026, and the surrounding ranges come from 2026 buyer reports. Your deal will differ, and reported negotiated discounts of 30 to 40 percent suggest the opening quote is not the real price either.
Gong publishes no pricing, so every Gong figure above is a reported range: Vendr's marketplace contract data was checked directly on Aug 18, 2026, and supporting ranges come from 2026 buyer-report roundups. Where sources disagree, we quoted the range rather than the friendliest number. Vesso figures are our published prices.
