Getting Started with Vesso: Your First 30 Minutes
Set up your workspace, connect your calendar, review the GTM profile Vee drafts from your website, add your first accounts, and run one real meeting from prep brief to follow-up.

Every new tool invites the same mistake: spend day one importing everything, configuring every setting, and building custom fields for deals you don't have yet. Vesso pays off fastest when you run one real workflow end to end. Set up the workspace around your team, give Vee enough context to understand your go-to-market motion, then take an upcoming customer meeting from preparation through follow-up.
Thirty minutes covers it. By the end, that meeting is linked to the right account and contacts, Vee has context to work from, and the follow-up has somewhere to land.
Getting in
Signup is open. Create an account at app.vesso.ai/signup . After verifying your email and completing a short profile, you’ll set up your first workspace and begin a 7-day trial with access to Vesso’s core platform and full AI suite. During setup, you’ll choose the plan that fits your team; your AI credit allowance and active-seat limit follow that plan.
If your company already uses Vesso, use a teammate’s invite instead. It takes you directly into the existing workspace, where you’ll have access to the team’s shared accounts, meetings, and context based on your role and workspace permissions.
1. Create a workspace that fits how your team works
Setup runs as eight steps: the first three ask about you (company, job title, how you plan to use Vesso, and team size) and the rest build the workspace.
Choose a workspace mode first. Sales & CRM turns on accounts, contacts, pipeline, and forecasting; Productivity & Collaboration leads with tasks, projects, chat, and whiteboards; Meetings & AI Assistant centers on calendar, recordings, and notes. The mode sets your sidebar and default home page, and an admin can change it later in Admin Settings.
Then add the workspace details: name, description, website, industry, company size, and a logo. The website matters more than it looks, because Vee reads it in the background to draft your GTM profile while you finish the remaining steps.
Plan and trial
Every new workspace starts with a 7-day trial of all app features and includes Vesso AI credits for work such as research, content generation, and meeting assistance.
A payment card is required during setup, but you won’t be charged until the trial ends. Unless you cancel beforehand, your selected plan will begin automatically when the trial ends and the card on file will be charged.
Choose the plan that fits the team you expect to activate: Solo supports one user, Starter supports up to 5 active users, Professional up to 25, and Growth up to 100. Viewer access is free and doesn’t count toward these limits.
For the complete setup sequence, see the Getting Started documentation.
2. Connect the calendar your team actually uses
Calendar context powers meeting prep, the Vesso Notetaker, recordings, transcripts, notes, and follow-up. Connect Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar during setup, or come back to Settings → Integrations later.
Google Calendar is currently marked In beta while Google reviews Vesso's OAuth app, so you may see an unverified-app warning during connection; Microsoft 365 connections come through clean. An admin can also disable an integration across the workspace, which is why a teammate may see Disabled by admin.
Email is optional for this first workflow; connect it when you're ready to send or log outreach from Vesso. Each user can connect one sending mailbox, Outlook sending is available today, and Gmail sending may stay unavailable until Google's restricted-scope review wraps up.
If you enable email history import, Vesso can bring up to 12 months of matched email onto CRM timelines. Tell your team what's coming in before you turn it on.
See Integrations for the current connection options.
3. Review the GTM profile Vee drafts
Your GTM profile gives Vee the context behind your market, powering ideal-customer scoring, lead scoring, prep briefs, buying signals, and recommendations across the workspace.
When you provide a website, Vee drafts the profile in the background, and websites are written to flatter... if yours claims you serve "teams of all sizes," Vee will take you at your word. Open Admin Settings → GTM Profile and review the company overview, ideal customer profiles, trigger events, competitors, and proof points before saving.
Keep the first version focused: a specific profile gives Vee stronger context than a list of every company your team could conceivably sell to.
4. Add the accounts and contacts you care about now
Vesso gets useful long before a full CRM migration. Start with a small working set: the accounts behind this week's meetings, the contacts on active deals, and the records your team plans to move next. Create them directly or import a CSV, link contacts to their accounts, connect active work to the right deal in Sales Pipeline, and add owners and next steps while the context is fresh.
This gives Vee real records to work from and gives your first meeting a home.
5. Run your first meeting workflow
Pick an upcoming event in Calendar and connect it to the right account, contacts, and deal, then review the meeting context and ask Vee for a prep brief before the call.
During the meeting, Vesso can join Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Webex as a visible notetaker. Admins can set the notetaker to join all meetings, external meetings only, or stay off by default, and can configure its name and an optional consent announcement. Browser recording covers the calls where a bot in the participant list would be the wrong move.
Screen Context is enabled by default and can be switched off by an admin. When it's on, Vee can use shared-screen context during the conversation. Make sure participants understand what's being recorded, and follow your organization's consent requirements.
After the call, review the recording, transcript, summary, decisions, and action items, then turn action items into tasks, update the related account or deal, and draft the follow-up while the conversation is current.
6. Invite the people who should share the context
Vesso works best when the people selling, supporting, and reviewing the work can see the same account and meeting history.
Open Admin Settings → User Management to invite teammates and assign access. Admins manage workspace settings, users, integrations, and security controls; Members create and update operational work; Viewers are read-only across core records but can still use chat, comment, add manual meeting notes, follow records, and accept invitations.
Viewer access is free and unlimited, which makes it a fit for leaders and stakeholders who need the context more than they need a seat. Review the full role model in Permissions.
7. Put Vee to work from the page you're already on
Vee is built into the workspace and uses the page and records you're viewing as context. Ask for an account summary, a meeting prep brief, the next tasks on a deal, or help creating operational work from plain English.
Ask from the place where the work lives: account questions belong on the account, meeting follow-up belongs with the meeting, and pipeline questions belong in Sales Pipeline. That context sharpens the answer and keeps the result attached to the right records.
Your first-session checklist
- A workspace with the right name, website, and operating mode
- A reviewed GTM profile
- A connected calendar
- A connected sending mailbox, if you plan to send outreach
- At least one account and its key contacts
- One upcoming meeting linked to those records
- The teammates or viewers who need shared access
Leave the rest of the pages alone for now. Complete one real workflow, then add the next piece when the work calls for it.
Start with the next meeting on your calendar
Create an account at vesso.ai or sign in at app.vesso.ai, follow the Getting started guide on your dashboard, and bring your next customer meeting into the workspace.
One meeting is enough to see how Vesso carries context from preparation to conversation to follow-through.
